Burpee Mile Prep:

3 sets of 15 burpees - OTC
Rest 30 seconds between each set 


For lowest time (in seconds) minus total reps completed:

Citizens of GPP are to organize into teams of 5.  Teams will continually perform reps of exercises (below) in unison until each individual member has sprinted around the building (approx 200 m) once.  This is to be done while the other members of the team are pounding out reps.  Upon returning from the sprint/run the runner will fall in with the rest of the group and continue with reps of the exercises while the next runner goes, and so on.  The exercises are as follows:

KB high sumo 25/35
jumping pullups

Score by subtracting total time in seconds from total reps.  Lowest score wins.  Post score and names of teammates to comments.


We don't have very long to prep for The Burpee Mile.  So, we plan to get after it here for the next couple of weeks.  Plan on doing burpees (OTC & otherwise) nearly every day.  A mile of burpees will be NO JOKE.

It may not be that bad either.  There will be frequent breaks and such.  It will be a fun event.  Plan on having many different leaders.  For more info please click HERE.

We love the idea of using the fitness we so painstakingly build every day to benefit others.  Hope you'll join us.  Many across the valley (gyms and etc,) have committed to being there.  We also have a few news organizations poking about.  Hope they cover it.  It will be an amazing event.  BTW - the event will not be short on prizes!
