Oil Pulling?  Have you heard of this ridiculousness new health method, yet?

The new fad bandwagoning the popularity of coconuts and coconut oil is called "Oil Pulling."  It is purported to pull toxins from your blood stream via your mouth.  Yep, your mouth. 

To conduct an Oil Pulling session on yourself, simply take a big solid spoonful of coconut oil and put it in your mouth and swish it around - for about 20 minutes. Do this until it liquefies (coconut oil is a solid below 75 degrees).  DO NOT SWALLOW!  After 20 minutes it is thought to be FULL of bacteria and toxins, so spit it out!  Now, you are healthier!  

OH, but you have to be careful!  See, due to the supposed incredible detoxification properties of coconut oil it is thought to be able to pull the mercury from your fillings.  So, swishing MORE THAN 20 MINUTES is strictly out of the question.
