"So, what's the deal with RX+ week this year, and why all the mystery?"

No mystery here friend.  We are just giving a bit of run-up before publishing details which haven't been completely hammered out just yet.

The what, where and when of RX+ week are needfully more complicated than in years past. There are a couple of reasons for this:

1 - Each year we try to make your experience more valuable than the last.
2 - Our little GPP project has expanded to include several more affiliate sites. Coordinating the effort is a bit more complex.

Reason number 2 is really not a problem. GPP affiliates are uncommonly easy to work with. I think they all realize how new and small this GPP project is. As "early adapters" they understand a certain amount of disorganization comes with the territory. Plus, all who are involved are problem-solvers by nature, so they aren't easily unhinged by HQ.

The first reason, however, is the big one.

RX+ weeks have always been unbelievably successful at GPP. We usually have hundreds following along with us at HQ and hundreds more following along off-site. The energy created by all of us storming 2-a-day workouts together for a week is electrifying. Success stories tied to RX+ week are innumerable. There really is no better way to galvanize our own efforts to become more fit and healthy.

Thing is, as successful as RX+ week has been at helping us become more fit & healthy in the past. We believe it can do even MORE.

There is little doubt that storming a week's worth of well programmed 2-a-day workouts can do some intrinsic good (think: mentally, emotionally, socially, spiritually). There is no doubt it will help physically - at least, over the short term.

But there is the problem.

Why participate in something like this for a "short term?" We realize not everyone will.  Some will use this as a tremendous jump start to propel them to their longer term goals.  However, most won't. Most will go through all the pains of this physically demanding week only to be temporarily satisfied with this no-so-small effort alone. But, shouldn't RX+ week be a small part of something GREATER instead of a GREATER part of something small?

We think there is more value in the latter.  We think RX+ week can be used for even more success than it has garnered in past years. We have been organizing more detailed programs to help ensure it will.

Details are to come.  For example, we are doing an organized 21 day run-up to RX+ week. By participating in this, you'll be more prepared to withstand the physical rigors of our 2-a-days challenge.  You'll also be more prepared to use the fitness you'll gain from RX+ week. You'll also be lighter/leaner on starting day - GUARANTEED!

We are excited to share all of this with you.  Give us a few more days.
