I'm from a place and a time where there isn't a lot of, lets say ..., "appreciation" for hip-hop.  If you are from around there too, I encourage you to ignore that silky beat boxing and just listen to the words.  Although our politics aren't aligned, I think Jay Smooth is genius. This song should be mandatory listening (maybe, memorizing) for those trying to get healthy.

Whenever the muck gets really deep, to the point where it is coming over the tops of my boots, I find myself humming THIS little diddy ... and trudging on.
