Beginning November 1, 2010 GPP will offer a new Skill Development Program.  This is your chance to practice and fine tune your form and technique on the most important and crucial movements at GPP.  This is not a workout, this is a class designed to give you intensive work on specific movements so as to improve your abilities, increase your capabilities in your workouts, and decrease the likelihood of injury.

Do you want to be able to lift more? Do you want to be able to have a faster, more efficient power clean?  Do you know what a push-press is? Or the difference between a front squat and a back squat?

For the first week of every month we will offer this class.  You can come to any one class you want or complete the entire class.  You can even come as often as you want, or use the classes as a refresher in the future.

Monday is squat day and we will learn and practice air squats, front squats, back squats, OH squats.

Tuesday we will have our group trail run as well as some coaching on technique and form, running efficiency and guest speakers. Tuesday Group runs are FREE.

Wednesday is dedicated to practicing all things overhead.  The press, push-press, and jerk. as well as Pull up day where we learn and practice kips, O.Z. pull ups, butterfly kips, and bent-over rows.

Thursday is our Olympic movement day.  Dead lifts, hanging cleans, power cleans, squat cleans, and the single arm snatch.

Each class starts at 7:15 pm, will continue for an hour and is $10 per class or $25 for the full 3 days.

We look forward to seeing you and invite any questions to be directed to Neil, Lizz or Meg.
